OK, the baby watch is finally over. We delivered a healthy baby girl, Thursday, Nov. 6 at 9:47 AM. She weighed 8 lbs., 11 oz. and was 22 inches long. After two days of deliberation, we gave her a name: Madison Dakota Green. She is so beautiful.

At times I really feel like I am in a race trying to outrun the frustration that always seems to be nipping at my heels. This veil of flesh, this cover of confusion. All questions, few answers.

This past week I heard a story of two men running seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. I am always amazed at how often sport mirrors life. I am not running this race to win. I am running this race to finish. I want to endure - to the very end.
