Moving is not real high on my list of fun things to do. However, people keep reassuring me that it will be worth it. We do love our house and consider ourselves very blessed.
Observations about moving;
- I am thinking of investing in a box company. Unlike in the yester-years, free boxes can be real tough to snag from environmentally friendy companies that now reuse and recycle. Isn't giving a box to me a form of recycling?
- Transferring utilities from one address to another was pretty much pain-free. Every company was pretty good to work with except for the phone/DSL company (SBC if you must know) which has pretty much failed to impress me at all since I called them last week.
- Good neighbors are a rare find.
- Yard work is much more tolerable when you are wearing an Mp3 player.
- I miss living next-door to a Starbucks.
- I am enjoying owning a home.
