From Lebanon:

Wow. My in-laws have just had high-speed internet installed.
Does that mean that Jesus is coming soon?
I am actually in the lower living room on the couch getting caught up on work stuff and surfing the internet. This used to involve stretching a (no joke) 50 ft. phone cord through three rooms to get a dial-up connection. Not anymore.
We zipped down to my in-laws today after picking up my oldest daughter from school. We thought it would be good for the girls to visit with the family.

Well, my wife tells me it is time to go visit with actual humans.

Until later...

I made it home.
There is nothing like coming home. There are some guys that hate being around their kids. Not me. One of the greatest moments of my life was walking through the door and seeing the look on my (almost) 2 year old's face, and watching the realization hit her that her daddy was finally home. She lit up so much you would've thought that it was Christmas.

Home...family...pretty common themes...but the fact of the matter is that one of the most powerful forces on the planet is the family.

My wife is in Cleveland with her dad and family. My father-in-law was back at Cleveland Clinic today for a consultation. They were supposed to get test results back today. He has been in a tremendous amount of pain...we are trusting for a miracle.

From Springfield:
Monday is always a recovery effort. This one even more so.

Hayfever has just about crippled me. My brother's two cats are not helping me either. So today I have been propping my eyes open with toothpicks. They are swollen and just want to close.

For everybody who thinks that going to one service on Sunday, this church has gone to one service on Sunday...kinda.
The Sunday schedule at this local church is Christian Education at 11:30 am. At 12:30 pm they take 1/2 hour break and at 1 pm they return with an evangelistic service. They are generally done by 3 pm. It was really nice having the evening open.

The church was extremely receptive to my ministry and much was accomplished here.

After service, our family went out to eat and then back to my brother's home for a time relaxation. Today, I met Eric at the church at 10:30 am. We drove together to Branson to meet Dad for lunch. We stopped at the Shepherd of the Hills gift shop for a few souvenirs.
Eric had to be back at the church by 3 pm, and so here we are.

I will say this: the Ozarks are beautiful.

I have a had a good visit with my family but it is really time to start back for Columbus (which I will do early in the morning).
