We took a couple of days r&r to spend with family and recharge the batteries of our lives. I have been thinking a lot about creativity. I have been blessed with a few talents and skills and I strive to be as creative as I possibly can, but more times than not, I fall far short of the level of where I want to be.
I am starting to understand that one of the keys to creativity is not just working yourself to death, but in keeping yourself at your best, prepared for when that special idea or creative spark comes along. A spark has to have kindling to make a fire. All of the creativity in the world is wasted on someone who does not have the inner strength to follow through.
